In America

I finally got to see “In America” last night as D. suggested. I told him a few weeks ago that I could not cry anymore for years, which is extremely frustrating. Crying was substantial for me in the process of dealing with anger, loss and depression. A prominent theme in the movie was about letting go of your ultimate fear and loss, and then just cry. The movie was quite intense in that particular theme. Anyway, the movie was beautifully shot — very stylish and fantasy-like. The loft in the movie, though it was said to be located in a crack house, is so wonderfully decorated. I really want to live in a space like that. The Bolger sisters are so cute and are amazing actresses. And I found Paddy Considine and Djimon Hounsou exceptionally beautiful!
