I am always excited to see my friend Eugene’s new photographs. Their colors are always vibrant, subjects always interesting; and each of them always has a story to tell.

He just redid his photography site, Fotokuo, which I love the simplicity of. The roll-over menu layer do not align and I love the uniqueness of it.

Is it Spring?

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

Spring started on the March 20th, the Vernal Equinox, and finally today it felt like Spring.

I got to get outside during lunch, and ate my falafel sandwich (from the Halal cart) under the sun. The sun was warm, but not too hot; I sweated a little bit under my sweater and it felt really good. I love this time of the year, when I can really get to enjoy the sun without being annoyed by the sweat. I hate the summer sun, which is always too hot for me.

Yogi 1 year old
According to the record from the animal shelter, Yogi was borned in April 2006 2007. It means that this month Yogi has turned 1!!!

They say that kittens are those who are under 1 year of age. In fact, it was really obvious to me when he turned adult. A few weeks ago, Yogi started to eat less. He doesn’t eat as much as he did when he was a kitten when he first arrived when he would eat non-stop. Now he just eats his portion and stops.

He has also been a lot calmer and more settled down than when he first arrived. He still intimidates Sasha from time to time, but much less. Unfortunately, Sasha is still very traumatized by him, and she is still very skittish and walks around with caution and hypersensitivity.

Royal mint 2
The new design of the British coins is just brilliant, and I think it’s gorgeous. The Shield of the Royal Arms is spread among the 6 coins (1p to 50p) with the £1 coin showing the entire shield.
